Name: Active Athletica
Brief: Create a social media marketing campaign
Project description: Deliver ROI by using a range of social medica platforms to promote a launch event for Active Athletica’s new collection therefore gaining maximum “free” media exposure globally for a minimum investment
Active Athletica redefines what it means to be active. Whether it’s running errands, meeting up with a friend, doing chores around the house or going to the gym… Active Athletica wants you to be comfortable doing whatever it is that makes you happy… without compromising on style! Who said you can’t look good when going to the grocery store? As an athleisure brand, this is where function meets fashion.
A logo and brandmark was also created for this project. The organic form of the negative space between the a’s represents movement.
To promote healthy living and encourage people to stay active, our brand has put together a challenge that includes the general public. The challenge is a walk beginning from Bronte (Waverly Cemetery) and ending at Bondi (Ben Buckler). The total length of the walk is approximately 4km with a 1.5hour walking time. Along the way there will be mirrors attached to the railing with motivational quotes using vinyl. This will help motivate walkers to keep going and also encourage them to take a selfie or photo with the ocean view. The aim of the challenge is to help promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle which our brand heavily stands for, it is also a great way to subtly promote the event and create hype.
The main event resembles a retreat where attendees will be flown to location by a seaplane where the day kicks off with morning yoga and a nutritious brunch will be served after.
Following brunch is a painting activity and lastly, a meditation lesson. Throughout the day, attendees can view the new collection displayed around the area, take photos and videos at the photo wall and gift bags are given out.
